Toledo offers many fun activities, ranging from art museums to baseball games! The Toledo Museum of Art has more than 30,000 works of art! While at the museum, be sure to check out the mummy display! For more historical fun, go to Fort Meigs State Historical Park, located on the Maumee River just across the Perrysburg/Maumee Bridge. It has one of the largest log forts in America and the exhibits contain original artifacts recovered from the fort. Baseball is also a fun choice for a summer day! The Mudhens have games all summer long.
If you are in a shopping mood, there are many shopping establishments to choose from! In the Warehouse District of downtown Toledo (Erie Street Market: 237 S. Erie Street, Toledo) you’ll find The Erie Street Market and Libbey Glass Factory Outlet. The Market is open everyday with vendors selling fresh bread, cheese, candles, wine, fresh fruit and more. Also, be sure to visit Libbey Outlet where they sell silverware, glassware and dinnerware.

Oak Openings Preserve is the largest of the Toledo Metroparks with 3,668 acres. You can enjoy the walking trails, fishing, ice-skating, picnicking and more!
If you are in the mood for a Lake Erie adventure, Toledo offers many marinas to accommodate all boat sizes. Sport fishing on the lake and off nearby islands is also popular. The numerous well-groomed golf courses throughout the region have annual professional tournaments.
